It's important to be inspired in your work, your play, and your studies.  Drawing inspiration from many sources is key, as you never know what will make that million dollar idea germinate in your mind. This presentation from David Blaine, about how he trained to hold his breath for 17 minutes, is pretty fascinating and makes me think of the dedication it takes to put everything you have into achieving one very difficult goal, and then achieving it... a similar dedication to that of a marathon runner.
